ALL HONOR, GLORY AND BLESSINGS BE UNTO GOD!

Hello everybody! I wanted to blog this post on thursday, 12 feb but i did not have time to do so. Some of you may ask, why that title? Well, let me say God has been so good to me and so today, i'm here to give God the honor. Remember my previous post where i was talking about my motorbike test? Well, i passed! And i believe it is by God's grace that i did it because another 4 points would cost me a failure and it is really so easy to get 4 points! And thats not all, by God's grace, i got my bike on the same day! Isn't that great?! The thing was that while processing the transaction at LTA, we discovered that the finance company the seller engaged in blocked the account. So i started praying and praying. Within 15mins, the account was opened even though LTA couldn't get through the company! Isn't that amazing?
In a nutshell, i would like to thankGod for being so good to me, indeed, it was not by my chariots, swords or horses that i did it but it was the grace of God!

Hello everyone!

I'm so excited for thursday!I am! I've waited for this day for 7 years!!!!Can you believe it?Some of you would know what i'm talking about, but for those who don't, thursday is my motorbike test!!!!

Since 12, Rasmus and I have been wanting to buy/ride our own motorcycle. We were Vespa fans then. But now, we're looking at a variety of motorcycles, seeing which would be the best one that would fit us. After looking at a few bikes, we realise that there is no perfect bike. There's either a flaw here, if not, there would be one there. So we just have to settle for the next best one.

Our top choice would be the Honda Phantom TA 200, followed by Daelim Roadwin and so on and so forth. Once we get our bike, we'll definitely upload it to show ya'all..

Till then, please pray for me this thursday, 12feb, at 8 in the morning that i will pass my test.

Good Chicken Rice!

I was with my dad at ang mo kio hub today submitting a case. So after lunch we went to the coffeeshop opposite ang mo kio hub to eat chicken rice! I noticed it before so i really wanted to try it today since the queue is always long most of the time and there was a fragant aroma the last time i passed by. I ordered roasted chicken rice while my dad got steamed chicken rice. There was even soup for the day.

So now my comments... As my title is self explanatory, so will my comments be. It was really good. The rice was did not stick together and there was a strong taste in each grain. The chicken was tender and juicy (esp. the steamed chicken) and the soup was just marvellous. Lots of nuts inside which also contributed to the taste. So if you're craving for some chicken rice, go to the coffeeshop opposite amk hub (opp. subway)

XIN WANG HONG KONG CAFE

For those of you who have not yet known, Yishun Shopping Centre has a new 24 hours Hong Kong cafe! Isn't that cool?

Well, it ain't cool if the food ain't good.

I'd say the money you pay for the food is not properly apportioned. So it means that its not worth the money! I might be a little bias saying that since i only tried the Pork Chop noodles and the curry chicken noodles but if that alone wasn't nice, then how much nicer would be their specialty dish. The potato in the latter dish tasted like it was from a leftover curry! Those of you who have experienced it might know what i'm talking about. But i must say the chicken was tender. The pork chop noodle wasn't really that great. Plus, it was oily. At least there was a pretty china lady serving us so that wasn't bad. But seriously, sometimes i think China girls are really gorgeous. They are fair, sometimes tall and have nice sharp noses.
Back to the topic, i think maybe i'm a little bias since its one of my first times eating there. However, i'll have to be utterly convinced that the food i was eating was not their 'specialty' dish to have me go back there to eat.

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

I had a great 'chu yi and chu er' going to both my paternal and maternal granny's places respectively. Just got back from Malaysia where my maternal granny lives. Its really nice to see elderly people so cheerful and full of life! She's going to turn 80 this year which is really awesome! I mean living to such a ripe old age in times like these is really amazing. I'm glad to have her and of course my paternal grandmother. They are both lovely people.

Its quite sad that we have only 2 days for chinese new year this year but i think it was sufficient to get things done, like visitations etc. However, visiting other friends would have to be done another day. Plus, since school has just commence, it makes it more difficult to do so. Lucky O' level graduates, so much time to spare. sigh, those were the days man.

So anyway, chinese new year this year was good and i look forward to the next one.

You deserve a MEGA MAC!

I'm sure many of you have seen that advertisement on channel 5 or whatever media corp channels. Its really catchy don't you think?

So today, i went with Gary, Edwin and my brother to KAP Macdonald's to try the Mega McSpicy! Its not that expensive, only about 6 or 7+ dollars to get you the meal. So i waited upstairs for them. They took quite awhile which made me really intrigued. I later realised that the macdonald's system had a problem because both Gary's and Rasmus' orders were switched to Mega Beef Prosperity burgers! I would have wanted it but nevermind, i will try it soon!

Edwin started with his meal as he have not eaten Macs for almost a year now! All thanks to his body building diet! But anyway, the mc spicy was so juicy and tender, i enjoyed every moment of it. But the most enjoyable part is not the eating, but the laughing! There was this guy sitting beside us, who had hair so long it reached the lower end of his backside! Its that long... But thats not the funny part, what was so funny that made us laugh almost non-stop was the fact that he talked really really really funny! I tell you, we had great difficulty eating man! It was a pity we did not take a footage of what happened. Whats worse is that his friend sounded like lao fu zhi! Seriously, high pitched and really like him. I dunno how to describe but it was just like that!

So thats my Macexperience! It really made my day man, as well as the others.

FOOD RECOMMENDATIONS!

Okay, today i'm going to tell you more about Nasi Lemak!

Nasi Lemak was originated in Malaysia and is non other than the national dish of the country!
The name of the dish comes from a malay word which literally means 'rice in cream'! So as you all know, the rice is the main attraction of the dish as it is cooked with coconut milk. Salivating already? Wait till you try the different nasi lemak available in Singapore.

So i'm going to do a comparison between nasi lemak from two places in Singapore. Punngol Nasi Lemak and the one in Adam Road Food Centre - Selera Rasa Nasi Lemak (if i'm not wrong...)

I ate the Punngol Nasi Lemak last week and was impressed by the standard of nasi lemak.. But that explains the long queue! Today, i ate Selera Rasa Nasi Lemak. It was divine! It was just so delicious you'd think its the best nasi lemak you've ever tasted. However, i was not impressed with the chicken as there is no special taste to it. Its pretty ordinary. On the flipside, the otah and egg was fabulous! The rice was the best. The authentic Nasi Lemak Taste was acquired. So i'd give it 4 out of 5.
Punngol Nasi Lemak can be compared to Selera Rasa Nasi Lemak but i was not impressed by the taste of the rice. Its true that people say that is the best part of it but i thought the chicken was the best. It was soft, chewy and tender. So for the chicken, i'll give it 3 out of 5. Still worth trying.

So this are my thoughts and recommendations on nasi lemak. Its unfortunate that all the components required to make the best dish is always all over the place. But i guess thats what life is about, always trying to achieve something better.

HOW TO BEHAVE AROUND GIRLS (continued)

So here I am to continue the mini series on 'how to behave around girls'.

Today, i'm going to talk about self confidence. Most guys have a problem with that when it comes to the girl of their dream. Their legs get wobbly and weak and they start to stutter and jumble up what they want to say to the girl. I was watching this show on OKTO a few sundays ago. The show is titled "She's the man". I'm sure many might have watched it before, but if you have not, you have to watch it! Its really good!
So there was this really hot girl,(i was practically wolf whistling at home :P--) called Olivia (played by Laura Ramsey). What happened is that Duke wanted to HAVE her. However, he had a problem talking to girls! So when the chance came, he just became a totally different person. Someone who lacked confidence. Obviously Olivia did not like him. Instead, she liked Viola who impersonated her brother!
Viola was different, she (or he) was confident and he knew what girls really wanted.(duh!) So my point is, have confidence in yourself! Girls can see it and they like that confidence. I'm not talking about over-confidence leading to pride in oneself but to believe in yourself and know that afterall, girls like guys who know who they are.

There are really alot of tips out there but what's more important is what i've been emphasizing on, being yourself.

So this is the end of my mini series and if you have any suggestions, please feel free to throw it out on the tag board so i can continue the series in future.

HOW TO BEHAVE AROUND GIRLS?

I want to start off by telling you that a 9 year old boy, Alec Greven, is a successful author of the book 'How to talk to girls?'. I first saw this on the Ellen Degenerous show and i was in awe of such success that a 9 year old can have. The boy was also confident in the way he spoke and i think he really deserves this success.

I would like to suggest my opinions of how guys should behave around girls as i observe quite a few mistakes guys would make while hanging out with girls.

Firstly, girls do not like phony guys!
I have to say that girls also do not like other girls who are phony but in general, if you're a guy and you're phony, then you have no chance. Why be fake when sooner or later, you'll get tired of faking who you really are. Afterall, girls like guys who are genuine, who are themselves and do not have to try to hide any flaws that they have.
Of course i'm not asking you to show off your 'child like' side to the girls you hang out with because that will definitely not appeal to them. (I made that mistake before!Many times actually!)However, the way you speak and the way you portray yourself should always be natural.

Remember: Be a Man, Do the Right Thing!

Today i'm going to talk about how people in general, speak in public!

As i observe daily the speeches and sermons that people make, i realize that there is truly a need for people to go for public speaking courses and read books related to the topic.

One mistake that people make is that they SPEAK the way they write!
Speaking and writing were never meant to be the same entities. One should write in a professional manner with bombastic words but should never speak with bombastic words! Of course we have to speak professionally but when you speak, do not ever think that your audience english is equivalent to the students in Harvard University. Speaking with 'chim' words does not make you professional but rather, speaking with sentences constructed properly using relevant words makes you professional.
I hope that this is an enlightenment for most of you and for those of you who are speaking without 'chim' words, continue the good work!

Next mistake, or rather, a bad habit that most people have is that they use space fillers.
"Umm..." is one common space fillers but the next one that i think is getting more and more common is the word "Man". I use it a lot too when i go up to people and say, "hey man..." I can't believe i do that to girls to!
So to get rid of it, what you can do is to grab a friend to practise with you. Time yourself and talk about any topic under the sun and get your friend to see how many 'umm' or whatever space fillers you use!

I hope this is helpful for you to speak in public.

Love = Act of Will

Today was a really really long day. Started off way early with Leader's Retreat at Laguna Golf Resort til now when i just arrived back home! See what public transport do to your time. Still, we gotta appreciate public transport as without it, i do not know how we're going to travel around singapore. (Its weird to know this is coming from me :p)

So why did i start with 'love is an act of will'?
The church has been concentrating on this whole idea of love. Loving others around you the way God loves us. I have to agree many of us do not really do so. This is a tough choice and i believe most wouldn't want to give up getting out of their comfort zone just to love. You see, love is not just a 'feeling' that we experience, rather, true love is sacrificial! The act of Jesus dying on the cross for us is true love and that was an act of will and a sacrificial effort on the part of the Son of God!

So i want to encourage you readers to truly love those around you by 'willing yourself to action'! Its tough because i struggle with that but remember, it is possible. Afterall, action speaks louder than words. (I can't believe i'm saying this!)

However, don't let people use this to take advantage of you. It is just a personal conviction so if it applies to you, apply it!

Well, i did and i found really interesting stuff about my name. Of course when i 'wiki' Rastus Chow there were ZERO results, however, when i google-ed it, it was more of the other way round. But i'm not really talking about Rastus Chow here, i'm talking about google-ing just your name, like Tom, Harry or Dick. So here's what i got...

I'm so ecstatic because I just got a new Hamer Electric Guitar!It was a christmas gift from a very good friend of mine, Russell Chew. Thanks Russell! I've been practising with it a lot as the sound it produces is so nice and the feel is equally good. Most importantly, it looks really nice, yes, it's orange in colour!one of my favourite colours.

It all started when russell asked me to follow him to buy an electric guitar, as he wanted one. So because City music was having a discount, he asked me to follow him to test out the guitar to see if it is worth buying. I already went to city music the day before and hence i wasnt too excited to go. But anyway, since i had to buy new wires, i decided, why not, just go down and test the guitar for him. So when we were down, he picked out the guitar and ask me to test it. It sounded quite good (though at that point of time i dont know why it didnt feel/sound that good, maybe because i was comparing it with Jeremy's les paul) and so i suggested to russell that he should buy it. He kept asking me to test it like i was going to buy it. i was quite puzzled at the fact that he kept saying it because i know i'll make sure he gets a good buy. Little did i know that he was actually hinting that he was going to buy it for me.

Anyway, after that, i went home and subsequently went to his house to try out "his" guitar with my effects pedal. All this while, I was oblivious to the fact that we were going to his house to get the guitar. Even on the way to his house (i was carrying the pedal) i asked my brother to carry it back when we go home and he said "you say one ah" I was quite puzzled but i just put it at the back of my mind. To cut the long story short, my brother told me about it at his house and i was really appalled because i wanted to suggest to my brother to buy that guitar.

hello!
okay.. i have not written any post for a very long time but i'm going to post one really short one now.
Came back today at 0030! Super late for a guy like me..(or it should be early..)

So what happened was that i was part of Red Camp 5 which happened at my very own school...NGEE ANN POLYTECHNIC! Oh, it was super duper fun..so much better than i expected. The HopNite was something that opened my eyes to a new revelation...that i'm actually not a very bad dancer..still bad though..but not VERY bad.

Through RedCamp 5, i came to knew ALOT of people...and i'm not kidding,ALOT!!! And its really really fun to be able to just constantly have conversations and fun with the younger crowd..shows that i'm still young huh. the best thing is that i did a 'stage dive' but not on the stage. Instead, on the table..it was super fun..my very first 'table dive'!!!! the cheers were power! esp the power cheers.i personallythink ninja did the best..unfortunately, there wasn't any best tribe. But if there were, i think we would have won it..

Best thing is, i could go for RED CAMP even though i did not go for many of their prepatory sessions. I really thank God for that and honestly, i did not regret my decision for it was one of the best times of my life in Ngee Ann..Thank you all for making it possible.

I miss you!

Sigh, I want to go back to Cambodia!Even after one week, i still have post serve trip depression! I miss Cambodia and especially someone!it was breakfast on the 2nd day at kampong speu and as i was looking for a seat, i saw this girl waving at me, or so i thought. (you know the kind where someone waves to you and when you look, that person pretends to scratch his/her hair?that was the kinda wave she delivered) By the way, the night before, when we first arrived at about 7pm we went to the multi purpose hall (in the picture above) where they were watching a movie. That was when i first notice her. Anyway, due to embarassment and the fact that i was not sure if she was waving to me, i found a seat with the guys. The guys were rather quiet and reserved, there wasn't much talk going on, so honestly, i found it quite boring seating with them. Hence, I was determine to seat with the girls for lunch. (Btw, the guys and girls dont seat together for administrative purposes)

We started work after breakfast where a few of us painted the guesthouse while the rest worked on the warehouse/garage. The whole time, i was thinking of that cambodian girl who supposedly waved at me. Very soon, lunch came and i saw her at the same table again. This time, i plucked up my courage and walked towards her asking if i could take a seat with them. We then started chatting and she introduced herself as esther, and her two best friends volita and rachel. (btw, esther's khmer name is chanta and rachel's khmer name is srey khuec) Slowly, the conversation became more and more exciting and they told me loads of funny stuff which made me laugh really hard. This situation was the direct opposite of the situation at breakfast with the guys. So we talked and talked until we were the last ones left behind and it was siesta time, time for everyone to rest. Throughout the whole conversation, i started to take an interest for volita, because there is just this thing about her which attracted me. Subsequently, all the meals i had was with these three girls except for the 2nd last day's lunch. Other than meal times, we spent quite a lot of time together and this made the attraction stronger. So anyway the very last night, i wrote notes to all three of them and in the note to volita, i told her that i like her, thinking that i would not see her again, because our group was to leave by 6am the next morning. However, shortly after i received a note from them asking my brother and I to go over to their room, which they never allowed because guys were not suppose to go over to the girl dormitory. i felt so embarrassed when i saw her, but anyway, i just talked to her normally while my brother talked to the other girls. That was the first and the last time that i talked to her alone hence i felt a mixture of joy and sadness. While talking to her, we suddenly saw a torch light and a man walking towards us. Fear gripped all of us as we thought it was the director of the centre. Thank God it wasn't. It was just my teacher in charge. He was really nice, he didnt scold us but instead nicely told us to stop at 11.30pm which was 15 more mins. We were thankful and very soon time flew, it was time to go.

I know that 7 days may seem a little short to like a girl, but there were guys from the centre who also liked girls in our teams. Well sadly, I wont be seeing her for the time being, but my brother and I intend to plan a road trip to cambodia next year, so I guess i'll have to wait till then. That's all i have to say!

hey guys!
it was quite fun last night at the twins house, i mean, it was always fun hanging out with the twins. Anyway, we went there for dinner and i (rasmus) was like the latest! Rastus went to rachel's house first, which was relatively near the twins' house and so he was earlier than me, much earlier. So i felt quite bad. But anyway, fel made Bailey's ice cream which was SO nice! That girl can really bake!It's just so nice!and she made some other strawberry stuff, which was equally nice. Her baking is so good that the cakes that samantha bought from a shop nearby for our birthday cake cannot compare to fel's pastries!
Anyway, dinner was chicken rice and rastus was talking about how he had chicken rice the whole day! First at lunch with our dad, then at rachel's grand daddy's house and finally at the twins' house!
After dinner, we sat around, and we were playing their piano. Sam came and started talking to us. She suddenly mentioned our birthday and well, it seemed that she forgot about it. So we didnt really bother lah,haha it's just our birthday after all. Time flew really fast.It was 10 30pm, So we wanted to leave, but the twins stopped us. So naturally, we knew they wanted to light up the cake!haha.and well, they did after like 10 mins?haha. We took some retarded pictures and
continued talking. So anyway, fel and kel were pedicur - ing so i suggested having our nails painted too. It was rather gay but i only do that once in a very long time. The last time was somewhere in secondary 2 i think?when stef painted my nails during church camp. So anyway, Fel suggested french-ing my nail, which at that point in time, i did not know what it was. So i said to her, you wanna put your tongue on my nails huh?hahaha.i was just trying to be lame.

So today was quite interesting. We went to some plantation/horticulture to buy plants to decorate an old folks home in meranti home tomorrow. the total cost was 240 plus lah!I paid first but i'll claim it tomorrow from my teacher!haha.After that, we went to register for license where darryl, russell and I registered for car license while rastus registered for motorcycle license. After which we followed darryl to SGH to collect something and subsequently plaza singapura for lunch!it was at COWS junior.hahaha. you should know what that is *winks* While waiting for our order, i was surprised to see lydia walk pass. So anyway, we called out her name and she came over to join us. After lunch, we proceeded to watch mirror, (lydia left by then) which was really scary and it had loads of Gore. Quite disgusting lah. But i enjoyed the movie. I'd give it 4 stars for a ghost movie.
So now i'm back home and reynard gave me quite an obvious surprise. haha. He bought a bottle of wine for us and joined to balloons together to form an '8' it formed '18' . It was quite cool, Thanks Reynard!

Hello guys!

You know, my holidays have been really occupied due to pre community service trip preparations and some other stuff. So we were constantly trying to find an organization that we can go to for our local community service trip for the past week! Well, i must say it wasn't easy as we contacted more than 10 organizations. Most turned us down because they say that the timings are not favorable since we only have the existing 10 days to organize this trip. So Rasmus and I were praying that today would be the day an organization would just accept our invitaion. The thing is, while we were re-calling the various organizations, many said that they could only let us know by next monday or tuesday which would be too late for us. So this made us a little unsure and of course afraid because it is a compulsory activity. Finally, Rasmus sent a Fax to the Meranti Home for the Aged. Within minutes, the superintendent called him and agreed for us to go over on friday! We were elated and of course, we gave praise and thanks to our Lord for never failing us. through this, we can see how God is so real and faithful and this event has led us to draw closer to our God.

So thats what i wanna say..thank GOD!

Well, a few more days and i can apply for my license!YAY!

hey guys!
i'm really happy to meet this new girl who's really fun to be with. I met her 3 days ago while attending a workshop. Well, basically, to cut the long story short, there were 2 pretty girls in the workshop, let's name them A and B. Initially, i was interested in A, so on the first day, after the workshop, i went up to talk to her and i found i could get along with her. So i wanted to get her number at the end of the whole workshop, which was 4 days. So anyway, after the workshop on day 2, we were requested to rate some design stuff (some new look for NGEE ANN) which was at another room. That's when i saw B walked in and my heart was pounding cause i wanted to talk to her, but i had no guts.haha( i already noticed B on day 1) Well, in the end, i plucked up my courage and went up to talk to her and i realised we got along quite well. It was then i saw A with a boy she was holding, and so i realised she was attached. But, i wasn't upset because by that time, i was already interested in B. So anyway, after rating the design stuff, my brother and i wanted to go home. However, while walking across the zebra crossing, we decided to go back to ask some of our friends out for lunch, since we had time to kill. Just when we were about to enter the room, B walked out, and i was quite surprised. So she asked why we came back and i told her. Then i suggested having lunch with her. However, she was quite reluctant initially, because we wanted to go out for lunch but she wanted to stay in school. Eventually though, we had lunch with her in school. So after lunch, we walked down to the bus stop and i asked for her number. And i've been texting her since!haha.anyway, i want to thank God for this opportunity, but no matter what the outcome it's okay. Though of course i'd like her to be interested in me as well. haha. i really hope she doesnt read this.lol.anyway, cya guys!

This post is dedicated to my Lord Jesus Christ.
A few days ago, i felt a gamut of feelings, because of a lost library book. The international economics textbook which i borrowed went missing and i was totally in a state of confusion. I was at a loss. I tried searching high and low for my textbook, but i just couldnt find it. Helpless, i just trusted in the Lord my God that He would do a miracle, either by helping me find the book or having someone who found the book to return it. However, a day before, when i logged on to check if anyone had returned it, i was disappointed that the book was still on loan. I was frantic as the date line was a couple of days later and thus i prayed again and asked God to work a miracle.
I went to school today because I had a paper, and so i went to return another library book. I asked a librarian how much would be charged for a missing book and she said administrative fees alone cost $10.70, plus the price of the book itself, it can easily cost $50. I felt really lousy but well, my trust was in the Lord my God. So anyway, rastus asked me to check my library account and i was astounded when i saw that the book was returned!At that moment i was on cloud 9 and i was at the point of crying.(The cry of joy) So i really want to thank God for the miracle and i want to thank the kind soul for returning the book for me. THANK YOU JESUS AND THANK YOU TO THE KIND SOUL!

MTV ASIA AWARDS 08!

Okay, so you all know I won MTV ASIA Awards 2008 tickets. But you know, the winning and the watching are 2 totally different things altogether! Let me tell you that Leona Lewis’ voice was angelic! Well…maybe I do not know how angels sound like so lets just say her voice was so beautiful that I was so so impressed. It was the nicest voice I’ve heard so far. Maybe you would say I have not been listening to good singers but seriously, when you hear her live and on tv, it’s a totally different thing. So Panic at the Disco was there and as usual, they closed the event with clowns and a lot of different mascots. It was also the first time I saw confetti rainfall! It was gorgeous. I definitely did not regret not selling the tickets because it would be such a waste to not watch the whole show. I do not really have a lot of pictures of the awards ceremony cause my phone camera is not that good. The rest are with Rey so if I get it I will try to upload it!

And so the next day, we went to the theme park!!! Okay, its not the best but it was still fun. Especially the go-karting. The kart was so super slow but we still enjoyed ourselves by constantly bumping into each other in hope that the other guy would lose his balance. It was so funnn! The space rocket thingy was also so fun because we fell from like 30m up? Its not as scary though cause jumping from 20m at freefall was worse. But the worse thing is when it was all misty. We were practically on cloud 9! Not that there were 9 clouds but we were IN the clouds. Check out the pictures and you’ll know why! The most exciting part was the drive down genting! Visibility was almost ZERO! IT was like only 3m of visibility so it was like driving down some weird arena.HAHA. Okay, I’m lazy to continue typing but this was the geeze of it all. So in a nutshell, I believe we all enjoyed our weekend!

Hello Guys, I had a really great day today:D Very fun indeed. So when I woke up, I spent the whole morning cleaning up my house! Even the toilet! IT was such a tiring process but it was worth it. So Rachel came over in the afternoon to just hang out and watch a DVD. We watched Hitch!Super funny and a really nice show. After that, we cooked ramly burgers!(All time favorite!) With ham too.So it was really good. Anyway, we studied together awhile and I played her the song that I wrote for her. I was so shy about it but I managed to sing it to her. Though actually I know she was also really shy about it! But overall, it was a great day! I’ve to study now! Seeya all next time!

I can't say i've been studying real hard for my ECD test tomorrow but i guess i can say that i've been studying. Because i have.

Its been really cold today! But thats probably because i've been in the library most of the time. Though i must admit it was really raining heavily in the morning!
Our group finished doing up our banner for our group which says "nutri-5". isn't that the best name you've heard? Well of course! It was created by us. Anyway, our ECD bazaar is happening this 12th of July 2008 at the Woodlands Civic plaza! So do come down and support us for we will be selling yogurts!

My heart is yearning for you, and i really miss you a lot! Though it was just yesterday, it seems like its been so long. I hope you'll have an enjoyable week ahead though. And continue to draw close to God as I also continue to do so.

Its been so long since i last blogged! Whao! Its no wonder everyone is not coming to my blog anymore! HA!

Anyway, i've been neglecting this blog because its like the least of all my other priorities since i've much to care about. And anyway, there's not much happening in my life other than my studies?

Well, the most interesting thing that happened and is still in my memory is the trip to Krabi, Thailand. I certainly had a great and fufilling time there! Though it was supposed to be a climbing trip, i saw it as a holiday instead. It was great fun especially with Melissa, Michelle,Edison, Reynard and Rasmus. We all slept in a 5 star room! It was huge and romantic. I'll try to put a picture up for you guys to see. Anyway, we climbed quite a bit and we also went island touring! It was really beautiful to see the various islands that consist of the Phi Phi Islands.

Anyway, the food was good, the people were friendly and we even met a beautiful couple who were so open and nice to us. Since we stayed in the same resort, we saw them almost everyday and what a joy it was to just know them.

Also, deep water solo-ing was really fun but scary. Especially to jump off the rock! But it was fufilling.

Anyway, i'm too lazy to elaborate the whole trip but bottom line is this, i'm still missing the trip to Krabi. It was just such a good and fun experience!

Recently, i've just been having a lot of work to do. I hope all get better. I don't like feeling so busy!

Today is a day that i might not forget. Started out with Pumpfest 2008, a bouldering competition. I had adrenaline rush the whole morning! Did the routes and was quite disappointed but i still hoped in the Lord. Though i thought i wouldn't get prize, i held on. Than Naufal came up to me and said 'congratulations!'. i thought he was playing with me but he looked serious! i went to check the results and there i was, staring at the board with my jaw dropped, amazed and stunned to find out that i was third! Though not first, i still thanked God! then i thought, if only i hadn't slipped of the tile, i would have gotten first! Such a mistake. So it was like a mix of emotions of happyness yet regret. But i'm grateful for what i achieved and i thank God for it.
Then i recieved an sms and i realised that you had come all the way just to support me and had waited for an hour or so but you did not recieve my reply and you left. I know the day has been hard for you and you know what, i'm really feeling what you're feeling, not exactly but i wish i could share with you in whatever you're going through now. i really do not want you to 'suffer in silence' though your friend is going to call you. And you know, through all these, i can get to know you better.

So this is my day. Now i'm back to studying and i hope things will go well(:

I was constantly trying to figure out what happened. No matter what, i could not get you off my mind. 'what's wrong?what did i do?' was the words that kept running through the thoughts of my mind. Finally, you replied. It was not usual and yet usual.Oxymoronic? It just something that happened before yet something that you do not usually do. it was then i realised that your 'girl' mechanism has set in and you're trying to retract away from me.
That was one day ago...
Now, i thank God that things are better. I guess whatever happened was also my fault. Something thats only between God and I. At least this helped me to know you better and the things that are really running through that brain of yours. I look forward to seeing you again and i hope you do too.

Currently, i'm having a 3 hour break! yeah, its something that i do not usually have so i'm making the most out of it. I've just contacted a potential business partner for my 1 day project and i'm praying that we would form some kind of partnership that would benefit them and my group. I've written up the proposal and it seems pretty convincing to me. I hope it is for him. But ultimately, my trust is in the Lord my God and how it turns out, all i can say is "its in God's hands'. Mus idea was good, low cost yet possibly high profits. This, is the power of leverage. Doing more with less and just to give you a hint, mus is only going to use paper to make money! NOT literally yet, somehow it is! yeah, cool? I hope it works out well for him.
Anyway, it was really fun just blogging, i hope you guys enjoyed my post!

well, i've been praying a lot about today and thank God it turned out really good! the weather was really nice though it was extremely hot!Still, its better than raining, so i'm still really glad it turned out that way.(at least i get a tan!) Anyway, i was out with Rachel to celebrate her birthday. Its more of an unofficial kind of thing cause it wasn't exactly a celebration but more of me spending some quality time with her. It was really fun esp the part when we cycled all the way to a particular 'break water'. It was really cool because the path to the 'break water' was really grassy and it was really just so interesting. There was even a cool 'wolf dog' lying in a nice hole. Well, basically the day was just so good and i really enjoyed myself.(i hope you enjoyed it too:D) I thank God for it and of course thank you(Rachel) because your company was really nice.(i hope mine was nice too!LOL). oh, the only thing is that i looked so weird in the photos i took with her. this shows that i'm not photogenic. the encouraging this is that she thinks i look better and real life which is what agree with too!So anyway, i still thank God for how i look!

hello guys!
Its been awhile since i've last posted but i can explain..its been really busy. Or i should say, i've been going out a lot which means that i've been spending a lot which means its not good! Well,i i've to admit, it ain't. SO today, i'm actually staying home to complete the financial literacy game and help my dad photocopy some stuff which he requires. It may sound boring but i'm enjoying it. At least i think i am. But anyway, i just want to thank God for the competition that i just participated in - boulderactive.
I mean i was really shocked when i got first during the qualifiers! i realised that it was not by my might nor my strength but by the spirit of God that i could have done it. Though in the end during the finals i did not win, i believe i did my best. Oh, i got 6th placing so its not too bad. Well, this serves as a reminder that i've gotta continue to train hard for the next competition because i'm now aiming to win instead of just to go there and TRY.
Easter programme was also good because the target of 400 was exceeded! We had like 471 ++ people that came for the easter service on saturday! And praise the Lord because there was 25++ salvations! I'm so glad to know that there were 25++ people added into the book of Life! Well, God was faithful and heard our prayers and i'm so grateful to God for that!

Now,what's up next is the audition at Ben & Jerry's on the 7th of April. I hope we can get through that so at least we have a platform where we can train ourselves for future gigs at pubs etc.

Hey again!
Chinese New Year celebration was great! I mean, i thought it would be rather boring because it would be the same thing over and over again but NO, it was not. This year it was better. Of course there were repeats but things like going parkouring around wasn't! I did not know that my grandmother's house was a good place to do it. But anyway, i loved it. The area helped me to polish up my skills a little more. So we also went to Danga Bay(in malaysia) and we did not know that it was quite happening there. There was skateboarding and of course lots of stuff. I feel like going back to skateboarding but hmmm..not very sure about that yet. Anyway, it was great to visit my relatives and even my friends.
Its still the new year so i'll continue to look forward to more fun stuff!

its been a great day! Packed the storeroom! So much rubbish in there..aiyo..haha.kept for many many years already..finally, "OUT!" it goes. So whats the main point of today's entry?
Well, remember i said i wrote a song? I recorded it today!It was pretty fun though it took up quite a lot of my study time but nevermind, i will find some way to make up for that loss. So i'm really happy with how it turned out though there were a few hiccups here and there..*maybe that's why the song is called 'testing'*
So there was a big problem cause we couldn't export the song.. So it means that we would not be able to put it in our phone!
But THANK GOD!Because FINALLY, we managed to export it! It was really the greatest thing that happened today! Thank God!

Hey there!
So today i was ordering chicken rice and there was this girl that I took notice of. I mean anyone would because she looks like as if it’s the first time she’s been in ngee ann. So she was considering what to eat and she thought “maybe I should eat chicken rice…”. (that’s what I think lah) so she walked into the wrong side of the queue. And she ordered sambal chicken rice. There wasn’t a lot of people though so no one said anything. Than a few people came from the other side of the queue and she went like “OH NO OH NO!!!! auntie, I’m on the wrong side of the queue. OH NO! its okay, cancel my order, I re-queue again…” the auntie was like “its okay..don’t worry, there wasn’t a lot of people just now.” I was just smiling to myself and in my mind, I was thinking “she’s cute man. First time I saw such an innocent girl.”
Well, it ends of here and seriously, I should have took a closer look at her because I practically can’t remember how she looked like!

Anyway, I went to help Hui Mei and her group with their project. I was the HOST! It was pretty fun because they are in Mass Communications and they were suppose to do a 15 minutes tv show. Their topic was on magic and it was really cool. The magician Quinn is also a really nice guy. I mean he’s really a good entertainer and whao… he is good at what he does. Anyway, just to help him publicise, he’s running a company called ‘Quinn Magic’..i think. So if you need a magician for any functions, you could give him a call!
Well, the whole show turned out well and for now, I’m looking forward to see the show, it was taped but as of now, I have not really seen the outcome. Some day soon maybe!

Anyway, i'm so into surfing right now. i do not know why but i'm just like watching surfing videos etc. HAHA.
I mean its so cool to surf the waves and ride through it. Those really big waves are the thrilling part. I realised that Aussie has much smaller waves compared to the US! I was shocked by the size of the waves. Well, i'm still quite new at surf stuff so correct me if i'm wrong.

anyway, she was walking down the corridor trying to 'chase' her friend to ask about a matter... when i saw her, my heart started racing. my legs turned jelly and i was like shit, should i say hi.

well, sad to say, i did not and reason is because she was in a rush and if i were to stop her in her tracks, it wouldn't be nice and i believe she would think i'm holding her back or something because she might not be able to catch up with her friend.

Hi everybody!i started reading this book today called DIVINE REVELATION OF HELL. I'm 1/3 through it and yes, God has already spoken to me so much. Do you know that hell is real?Do you know that suffering in there is really no joke and that no one, yes, no one, not even the bravest soul, would want to go there once they experienced it. I truly believe that a hell and heaven exist and indeed, the ONLY way to heaven is through Christ Jesus our Lord. I know what i just said might put some of you readers off, but it is true. It is only by His grace that we are forgiven and that we may be considered righteous. So people, turn from sin, come to Jesus, ask me about Him!ALL of us are His Children, and He loves EACH and EVERY ONE of us, so let us run back to Him and repent. Yes, i am a sinner too, i do sin, but I know, when i go to God and truly repent, He would forgive me. That goes for you too. His mercies are new every morning for me and for you. I'm not saying that we should sin and after sinning go to God for forgiveness and continue living a life of sin, I am saying that we should truly repent and when i say truly repent, it means really trying our best to live a life free from sin. I am really trying my best. Of course I may fall at times, but i know that God is there to pick me up. So yes, He's calling you guys to turn from your sins and come to Him. He will forgive you!He loves you!He wants you to know He is there for you! After reading the book, I really feel there is a sense of urgency to bring the lost souls to Him because if you land up in hell, IT WOULD BE FOR ETERNITY. You'll be suffering for eternity where fire would continuously burn your soul and you'll be tormented with excrutiating pain. I'm not exaggerating, that's what the Bible says and that's what the Author of the book described. Jesus brought her to see how hell was for our benefit, so that we will not go to that place, so come to Jesus, He's our Saviour, Our Healer, Our Deliverer, the One who blesses us, the One who forgives us of our sins the ONLY way to heaven!

I've been reading this book called "The Supernatural Power of a Transformed Mind" which Delia lend to my brother. This book is really so good and God has been speaking to me through this book! In addition, God has been speaking to me through my physical being and that has been great!anyway, i really wanna shine for God but yeah, gotta admit that recently, i havent been a very good example in my class and yeah, i'm going to change! Anyway, just want to tell you guys, God wants to have a really close relationship with you!He wants the best for you and if there are important things in your life that you are concern about, how much more, being your Heavenly Father, would He not be concern about these things? So rest assure, if you trust in Him wholeheartedly, He will never fail you!and this is the promise that I hold on to whenever there are uncertainties in my life. I'll always remember that so long i trust in my God wholeheartedly and that I Don't Slack, My God will bless me! Self Control is one hard thing to master. Thats what i learned recently.

Using profanities is something that i kinda just got into and now i find it so hard to break out of. Its like everytime i become really put off by something or someone, it just keeps revolving in my mind and i'll kinda let a word slip out of my mouth.

I wanna thank God for all His blessings including the current results i got.
The first paper that i attempted really demoralised me cause whatever i studied sort of did not come out. Actually, i should say that i did not really read broadly so it was partly my fault!

but guess what! God was and is gracious!haha.so anyway..my brother and i did really well. We both got GPA's of more than 3.5. so anyway..i just really want to thank God.

Though sometimes things really go wrong,it will always get better:D

Divine Appointment

Hey Guys!
its been so long since i blogged!(this is rasmus here) haha. today i wanna blog about my 12Km run!hahaha. It was a great run, no doubt, cause we ran from yishun all the way to seng kang. It was very tiring lah but we dont have a choice, cause we signed up for the standard chartered half marathon on the 2nd of december. Remember to come and support us! Darryl, Reynard, Rastus and I will be running! ANyway, back to the run, i believe 12Km is nothing to those who always run, but i've not been running much and i've never ever tried 12Km before, so it was really an achievement for me to complete this(: anyway, as the competition date draws nearer, we'll train like almost everyday!haha. Anyway, i believe you guys must be thinking, what divine appointment am I talking about right?(see the title)haha.well it took place at the lift lobby outside darryl's house. Basically, this was how it went:
After "crossing the finishing line" ,which was darryl's house void deck, i couldn't take it so i went to walk around and after which sit down on the benches, I did it quite a number of times, while tus, darryl and reynard went to buy 100 plus to drink. They took so long and i was so desperate for a drink that i kept calling out their names whenever i thought it was them coming back, but to my disappointment, it wasn't them. So i went up to darryl's house alone, but guess what, they weren't there either. So i went back down and they still weren't there. So i called out their names again, and finally, they appeared from darryl's block. So i drank my share and we went up. However, when we got out of the lift, something happened,(Something that no one would ever want to experience) my leg muscles started to get cramped and afterwhich, my thigh muscles cramped too!IT WAS EXCRUTIATING!the three of them (darryl, reynard and rastus) had to help me to sit down, but guess what, it was still soooooooooo painful. So i asked them to help me stretched my legs but it was still so so so so painful. However, thank God, after awhile, the pain left, but when i tried to help myself up again, the pain came back again, and it was excrutiating!Simply, it was unbearable! (you know if it is just one leg it wouldn't be that bad, but it was both and i just couldn't move at all, well, the worst part was that it was excrutiatingly painful) Then things got worst, my abs started to get cramped too and, followed by my buttocks. Well, so i asked the three of them to help me stretched and Thank God, the pain went off. To cut the long story short, i just want to Thank God for that divine appointment that i only got all those cramps when i was with my friends and that i didn't get the cramps when i went up alone to darryl's House. Isn't God so good, if i got the cramps when i was alone, i really don't know what will happen to me, cause the pain was really really really unbearable and excrutiating, so i wanna thank God for that divine appointment!THANK YOU LORD JESUS(:

just wanna show you some photos which i took which i think its quite cool..the ones at the bottom was with my secondary school classmates while the ones at the top was during ruishan's birthday party.. both were really fun and we really enjoy being at sentosa. the most fun part was digging two huge holes and connecting them from below..like a tunnel.the class one was successful.the one during ruishan's birthday,not successful):but we still did enjoy ourselves.anyway..how do i upload videos??coming up will be LSBC's funday also at sentosa..its on the 22nd of july! interested?

Today is another great day! haha. I'm really inspired to continue to walk close to God and you know, to be used by him, to be used to do great things for Him... Big or small does not matter, what is more important is the fruits((:

Anyway, this saturday, youth ablaze( our church youth group for those who do not know) is going to have an event called 'lets chill out' and of course i am here to help publicise it. It is going to be from 2pm to 7pm! So anyway, what are the highlights? Things like games, food and of course, worship! so people interested, please give me a call at 92225507! Also, our whole church(and i mean about 2000 people!) will be going to sentosa on the 22th of july! This is because, it is our church's fun day! so it starts at 9am and ends at about 2pm! It costs 12 dollars which is already heavily subsidised! It includes games, bento lunch set, live music, nachos and cheese and lots more! There is also the great atmosphere plus experience! HELLO AGAIN

Hello everybody! I am back! First of all, I want to thank all of you for faithfully coming to my blog to keep it alive! Thanks for your patience and I know if I were you,I would really react differently, like stop going to my blog or something!
Anyway, there has been a lot of Ups and Downs in my life lately and sometimes, it really gets me very discouraged. But God is faithful and as He said in His word, he will never leave nor forsake me! That is so true because each time there is a problem, each time God will see me through it and each time I would definitely become a more changed person. I might still be impatient at times or something like that but believe me, I am trying to change. Anyway, lets talk about church camp that happened on the17th to 20th of June in KL Times Square! It was really good because we had lots of fun there. There were all in all aobut 600 over campers! I really like church camps because wherever you go in malaysia(of course around the hotel!), you would be able to see a couple of familiar faces! Wonderful huh. Its so cool also because even at the shopping centres you see them! Anyway, another fun thing we did was swimming in the morning! First time we did it. I woke up at about 6 and started my preparation..(pool opens about 7 by the way) It was really nice because I was all excited to plunge into the pool..cool eh.. But first, what I did was to meet up with Rasmus and Darryl and we started running to different rooms to irritate the sleepers!(we rang the door bell continuously!) It was really fun because you could see all the sleepy faces of people that we do not normally see! Cool eh! After that of course the whole gang went to swim.. I was really sorry for chih yong because after the swim, he fell sick! The water was really cold so I guess that made his partial-sick condition worse! Thank God he’s better now!
Now,I want to talk about the Holy Spirit Night! Actually, maybe I’ll just tell you about the experience. Our speaker pastor Mike Connell is really good and really anoited by God. He’s really close to God( I assume) because if he is not, he wouldn’t be able to move so strongly in the Spirit. He was able to slain a person(which means cause a person to fall under the power of God) without touching him. What was more exciting was that he was just doing a demonstration of how God can fill a person and how a person(mike connell) can be used by God! Really wonderful eh! During the holy spirit night, the eye-catching thing was that the Pastor just had to describe a person and the incident that he/she is in and that person would come out to the front and get ministered. All this happened because the pastor was listening to God! It was really really cool and it really inspired me to walk closer to God!(I guess that’s one of the many benefits God gives to people who are close to Him eh?)
But anyway, we really had fun in church camp and though there were still Ups and Downs even in church camp, but thank God, things went well.
Now, I took some pictures along the way but sad to say, I sent my phone for servicing again! So irritating. But anyway,hopefully, I could get my pictures uploaded!

Yesterday, we dug 2 huge holes in sentosa and we connected it underground all using our hands, legs and frisbee! It was really cool but all the photos are in my phone. So hopefully, I may be able to upload it soon!

Hello! i know it has been long since i last blogged but yes, i'm here!hahaha. anyway, i had rollerblading today and it was really fun! i really enjoyed it as i learned new techniques and its really cool to blade with so many people and learning from each other! anyway, poly life is really fun.. the thing now is i have not settled down yet because i'm really feeling vry busy. what do you think guys? i've been going home really late every day, reaching back at about 10 pm or so and its really tiring. However, I did not regrt my decision!i really enjoy rock climbing and even ARC(adventure rope course) though i have not went for a single training.hahah. anyway, getting late, nights people! (and pardon me for my really broken english((:)

This was taken when we watched dance floor on wednesday!HAHAHA.Do we look cool or nerdy?!

School started at 1pm today and so i woke up later than normal..like 9am??It wasn't good lah cause i would prefer to start early and end early rather than start late then end late..But anyway, after lessons, i went to meet up with my brother,lina and jaime! Apparently, they were eating ice-cream!So nice! but i did not buy it lah.hahaha. So we just talked and you know,chill and slack lah. In a way, i consider that we're bonding lah. Cause we're like getting to know each and all. HAHA. After that, Timon came to join us and yeah, he's a really nice guy.. He has that tyical gangster look though! I heard he's the guai kind also so its like a little confusing! But anyway, we went over to NPSU room to slack... It was really MESSY but it felt cosy..maybe that's why it is not being packed!Well,since its like 'slacking', we took some pictures lah..hahah.and i also liked the room cause it was really cool(as in cold) and really really dark! NOT that i like dark places but hmmm..how do i describe it???Its like different lah. The disco ball is nice right?!HAHA!

After that, we went to KAP MACS to meet reynald and jane and it was only then that we discovered that we look alike!(that's if we don't wear specs!) So of course, we

bought contact lenses when we got back to yishun! The sad thing is i still take quite long to put it on!Rasmus only takes 5 minutes now lah!
